I have been adivised that our internet will be out on Thursday 28 November from 10am-2pm. I will answer all emails after our internet connection returns to normal.
I have made some changes to the website to group all Wholesale Only product under one category. This will save any confusion with my wholesale customers not being sure what product they should buy. If you wish to purchase the "Master" copy of my Instructions to teach in your shop or business you will need to be registered as a Wholesale account, once this is validated by me, you will be able to view the Wholesale Only product category and make your purchases.
Remember that your account needs to be a validated Wholesale account in order to view this area of the website, and make purchases. You will receive a 50% discount off the RRP on products in this category. If you have any questions please email me.
Hi everyone, I've just begun adding a new range of gadgets to help you digitize. I have personally tested all these gadgets and I know you will love them.
Sometimes hiccups happen with websites. Usually it is human error, which is the case when customers receive a "Fail" message when checking out. Recently we had a flurry of these errors and it has taken me a while to nut it out. My web guru is frantically working on transferring this site to a new format, where there is less chance for human error, and this should solve the problems I have had recently with the site. Meantime I have now fixed all the errors. If you do receive a "Fail" notice after you complete your purchase please send me an email and I will resolve the issue straight away.
Those of you who follow my Facebook and Blog posts will know that I have some advanced students who are in the final stages of digitizing and stitching out an amazing quilt "Friends of Baltimore". The original quilt was constructed using needle turn applique and has won many accolades and awards. Our version of this extrordinary quilt used the original patterns as the basis for our digitizing. The results have been incredible, even to those of us who are digitizing the quilt. We are all busy stitching away now in the hope of having our quilts on display at the 2014 National Digitizing Event.
As we finish our project, I began to turn my thoughts to our next digitizing challenge, and have selected a quilt I fell in love with 10 years ago. The quilt is a splended design by Jenifer Buechel called "Victorian Calling Cards". The quilt blocks ar so pretty and I know we will all enjoy digitizing it. I am thrilled to tell you alll that I will be teaching this quilt by Webinar. Each month I will offer three separate webinar sessions. One will be for 5D Design Creator, one for 6D Design Creator and one for TruEmbroidery for Mac. The webinars will be held monthly, and each student will receive written instructions (PDF) in advance. Naturally you need to purchase the original pattern and you will be able to do this here on my website or directly through Jenifer Buechel who is in the US.
Each webinar will be recorded, which means that you will be able to view it either live, or as the recording ... whichever suits your lifestyle.
There are 25 Blocks in the quilt, and it is my intention to teach all 24 blocks, so this is a lovely long term project. Over the time we take to digitize this beautiful quilt you will develop advanced digitizing skills and explore all sorts of wonderful techniques to create a unique embroidery!

This is the second National Digitizing Retreat, and will be held from 6th April - 8th April 2014 in Melbourne, Australia. Participants will be able to use their 5D Embroidery Software, 6D Embroidery Software or TruEmbroidery software, as all classes will have written instructions available for all three software packages. Remember this is a digitizing retreat, so you will need to own 5D Design Creator or 6D Design Creator. You will also be invited to try 6D Premier or TruEmbroidery if you do not already own it (byo suitable laptop).
At the 2013 Digitizing Retreat tutors were given the added bonus of receiving the master copy of the Instruciton Sheets for the classes they attended, and I will be offering this bonus again this year.

Take a look at the video I made of my first look at 6D Embroidery Software:
You can't buy the software here, but you can purchase it from your local Certified dealer, or from my retail shop, www.RingwoodSewingCentre.com.au.
Tuition will begin in early December, that will feature my own projects and designs. In the meantime, you will be able to purchase some "Beginners Video" lessons from my retail site mid January, if not earlier.
By popular demand I have added two new options for customers who need more personalised tuition. You can now choose between two great options. The first option is to book an online webinar just for you! This option is a great one for customers who want to be able to talk with me and ask questions. You will be linked to me using my webinar facility, and this means you will hear my voice, and be able to see my computer screen as I teach you how to digitise the design you have chosen. You will be able to speak with me, and I will be able to give you control to show me any issues you are having. Don't be afraid of this option, it sounds tricky but it isn't!
The second option is the Personal YouTube Video, which is a video I will record just for you. In the video I will show you how to resolve whatever your digitising problem is. The advantage of this tutition is that you can watch your video over and over again!
Both options are available under the "Online Tuition" category.
Yes, that is right, you can now purchase my very popular 5D lessons as a MP4V file, which you download right onto your Windows or Mac computer. The advantages to the Video downloads are huge, because you no longer have to wait for shipping, and you don't have to pay for shipping either. When you purchase a download you will receive the link almost immediately when using Paypal, and within 2-3 days if using our secure credit card facility. Why not buy one today?
